Liberty Wallpaper and Fabrics

Ottoman Spot

Inspired by a 19th century artwork discovered in the Liberty archive, the Liberty Design Studio have reimagined Ottoman Spot for contemporary appeal. Appearing on an elegant mixed-fibre, cut-pile velvet, this design beautifully contrasts with the collection’s most intricate floral designs. Luxurious in feel and vibrant in colour, this tactile cotton fabric contains a percentage of polyester for added durability and softness. Suitable for heavy domestic and severe contract use, Ottoman Spot is perfect for creating heavy upholstery, drapery, cushions, and accessories.

Thorpe House

Thorpe House is a timeless homage to artist John Hall Thorpe, whose paintings from the early 1900s inspired this design. Reminiscent of Liberty’s 1930s florals prints, the Tana Lawn™ cotton classic, Thorpe, was skilfully created as a colourful, repeating design by the Liberty design studio in 1968. Now reimagined for the home, Thorpe House has been redrawn to a larger, more playful scale offering an interplay of pattern and form suited to modern spaces.

Feather Petals

An adaptation of one of Liberty’s most versatile classics, Feather Petals’ all-over print is reminiscent of the 1930s style of Liberty designs. Reimagined by the design studio into a sophisticated and minimalist two-tone print, this design is ideal for contemporary living spaces.

Park Stripe

Park Stripe is a beautifully refined stripe design derived from House Florals’ Art Stripe. Offered in five sophisticated colourways, this two-tone vertical stripe mirrors Liberty’s signature colour palette. Park Stripe elevates the atmosphere of any space.

Regent Stripe

Inspired by Art Stripe’s timeless composition, Regent Stripe pays homage to an era of grace and style, infusing contemporary living spaces with a touch of sophistication. With a selection of thin vertical stripes coloured in a tonal spectrum, crafted to create an illusion of light and dark, Regent Stripe seamlessly blends 1920s elegance with a modern aesthetic for a refined atmosphere.

Wiltshire Blossom

Wiltshire Blossom is a contemporary reworking of an iconic 1933 leaf-and-berry Liberty print. Carefully repainted and re-engineered for House Florals, this contemporary furnishing fabric design provides beautiful tactility and clarity of print mark for a timeless and elegant feel.

Grand Thorpe

In honour of 150 years of Liberty, the Tana Lawn™ cotton classic, Thorpe, has been dramatically enlarged for a larger, abstracted interpretation of the original 1968 artwork. Offering a bold take on its intricate meadow-like beauty, Grand Thorpe transforms the familiar into the extraordinary. The design’s large-scale florals evoke a painterly elegance, creating a striking visual narrative that retains the nostalgic charm of the original while embracing modernity. Crafted from Tana Reborn Eve, an innovative approach to transforming surplus fabrics, Grand Thorpe is printed on a 20% recycled cotton suitable for drapery and cushions.

Enchanted Wood

A panoramic voyage across an imagined landscape, this captivating design was inspired by the book ‘Around the World in 80 Trees’ by Jonathan Drori. Hand-painted in the Liberty Design Studio in a painting style inspired by miniature Indian garden paintings, Enchanted Wood has stylised trees from all over the world including Maple, Cypress, Willow, Orange, and Pear. Weaving through these lush woodlands are meandering streams, delicate grass and even an imagined Liberty floral tree.

Botanical Stripe

Hand-painted in the Liberty design studio, Botanical Stripe is a signature artwork of the Floribunda collection, celebrating the historic tradition of botanical illustration in Britain. Botanical Stripe is printed using a fine mesh gravure technique, bringing to life the soft painterly nature of the motifs. Matte and metallic pigments are layered in varied degrees of tonality to create a subtle luminescence, reminiscent of Victorian cyanotypes.
